The Game My class was inside the school gym. The PE coach had blown the whistle for the game to start. Someone passed me the ball. I ran towards the goal in a straight line, surprised no one from the opposing team was there to stop me. I kicked and the ball flew into the goal! YAY!! I screamed aloud. I DID IT!!! Everyone was watching me. My team suddenly fired angry words at me. I hadn’t passed the ball three times before shooting. Also it was the wrong goal. “But I didn’t understand the instructions.” I feebly explained to the class.

In a small town there was a house. It was a house that nobody went near, for the house was a wreck. Windows were broken, gardens were overgrown and a white mist hung around the top of it. It was the middle of the night. A girl in a dark crimson dress slowly walked down the street, as if she was compelled to go somewhere. She wore a grave expression on her face. As she walked quickly through the misty night voices shouted at her frantically to stop. But she couldn’t. She kept walking, straight into the danger…

Reflective Questions

Reflective Questions 1. Where did you meet success and who might benefit most from what you've learned along the way? I had success when I finished my piece of pride writing and the people who will benefit from my writing are people who want to know if not having pride makes you a good or bad person.

The Flying Girl  As Jake sauntered outside at 9.00pm he looked up into the dark navy sky dotted with bright yellow stars. He lay down onto the lush green grass and gazed around the whole sky ( the parts that he could see anyway. )  Suddenly he saw a small dot of colour, colour that did not belong in the sky. If he looked closer he could see that it was a girl. She was flying! But how did she get up there? Jake was so shocked that he ran inside to his bedroom. When he looked out of his window he could still see the flying girl.

Review Of My Week

Week Seven This week in class we learnt about Analogies and what they are and how they are used. An analogy is explaining one thing to be like another thing. We also learnt what we do and don't know in French. In science we did more work on acids and bases and alkalis.  I also learnt that a lot of want to go to Dio- I was one of the only two girls left in my class on Friday.

No.2 My mum and dad are always telling me off for stuff that I have not done or things that my sister is just as much to blame for as I am. But what if I was in charge? I would tell my sister off for being mean to me and I would make her apologize to me. I would also throw parties to celebrate random stuff I achieved. I would be allowed to listen to music and dance in my room instead of doing homework, if I was in charge. Pretty much my life would be crazy! So It would just be better if weren’t in charge!  :)

The car journey was long and tedious. I moaned in the unenjoyable back seat while my brothers stuck their tongues out at each other across me. We were moving very fast when suddenly, the wheels stopped and the whole car skidded to a halt . “What the?!” I exclaimed. I cautiously leaned forward to ask my dad, but he only pointed to the road in front. When I looked up I saw a great big, brown deer in the middle of the road. It stood there, looking as if it really didn’t care whether we ran over it or not. I scrambled out with my two brothers. We tried to shoo the antlered deer away but it stood there, solidly.
